As I navigate through the world wide web, it's interesting how much is out "there". Even with the information that is so readily available to us, there are still some situations where we need to interact with someone to procure the product. For instance, to buy a car, you still have to go to dealership or owner to "test" drive the car, you may have to sit in front of the Car Salesman to fill out paperwork and in some cases, negotiate the price.
What puzzles me the most is when it comes time to making one of the most important investments in a persons life - purchasing a home - the question remains "Do I need a Realtor?"
Having moved 13 times, I know in the past, before I became a Realtor, I would never have known how to go about purchasing a home on my own. Between trying to find a home and then navigating the contract? Yikes! Of course, not every move was great, not every Agent did their job, but at the end of the day - we would have struggled had we tried it on our own.
No matter how great the World Wide Web is - when a property is listed with a Real Estate Company, a Buyer still needs a Realtor to show them the home. I am sure there are many arguments to this - but, remember - I have heard a lot of them! The internet is great for information, but even then it isn't always accurate.
If you or someone you know is thinking about Buying or Selling and would like to know some of the benefits of working with a Realtor, pick up the phone - call me!
